The Gospel of I AM is going to be available from Amazon and Kindle the first week of July 2024. So, what is the book about? It’s different than anything you’ve read before because it is written by I AM. Now that is the oldest name given for God. If you remember the movie, when Charlton Heston, I mean Moses, sees this burning bush and climbs the mountain to see it, God tells him that he has been chosen to deliver the Hebrew people. Moses tries everything he can to get out of this assignment, but eventually agrees. He wants to know though what God’s name is? God’s response is “I AM, tell them I AM has sent me to you. Thousands of years later, that name still represents the true essence of God.
Last year there was an event called the Asbury College revival, where a group of students spent weeks worshipping God. People from all over the world came to this small town in Kentucky, because God was up to something. He used a college campus of all places to bring people together just to worship and honor I AM.
As I watched this event intently, I began to think, what if God were to write a letter to the people of today. Would people be interested in hearing what God had to say, would they have a copy of it in their bookshelf, or would they even be remotely interested in it. The Gospel of I AM is a life letter to the people of today with words of both encouragement and warning, but above all HOPE. There is hope and peace in the message of I AM.
It is written by Jesus Christ who has been around with I AM since the dawn of time. The first part of the book examines the seven I AM statements that Jesus makes in the Gospel of John. From there, Jesus goes into what he calls guidelines for living and in it, he examines the issues of being a Christ follower today. Again, the purpose is to give the reader hope and encouragement.
