Many people ask, what sets your books apart from the thousands of other books out there on spiritual development. There are so many to choose from. My response is that our material is different, because we focus on transformation and specific steps that are involved in developed in building a relationship with God, a relationship that will stand the test of time and circumstance.
What does this look like? What steps are involved? I’m glad you asked.
Let’s look at it as if we are going on a road trip in our car. Before the GPS, you would look at a map to figure out how to get from where you are (Point A) to where you want to be (Point B). Now along the way you may need to make stops for gas, food, and rest. Consider this your spiritual roadmap to develop a relationship with God and the steps that would be involved along the way.
Step One involves starting a relationship with God. You know that you want and need one but are unsure how to go about it. This step introduces you to the need to spend time with God every day by reading his word, prayer or communication with him, and being on the lookout for how God is with you in your life.
Step Two is all about Jesus, learning more about him and experiencing him. This is a seven-day course where you will not only read about him, but you will see him come alive in your life.
Step Three is to identify who and whose you are. One of the lies many people believe centers on their identity. This step focuses on your identity in Christ and how your life has changed.
Step Four is all about learning how to deal with the one who isn’t happy that you’re a Christian and includes a specific strategy to deal with problems as they come up.
Step Five addresses the issue of Next Steps realizing that you cannot keep your faith to yourself and learning how to work with me at a different level.
At each step in the process will be a ton of encouragement and information available to help you become proficient before moving on to the next step. Yes this roadmap will take time to master, but you will be growing and learning about so much during this roadmap to transformation.
